What type of service does Ideal Home Care Solutions provide?
We provide two categories of care, Domiciliary Care and Live-In Care. Domiciliary Care is for clients who need help occasionally throughout the day but not continuously. Care Workers will visit you for example for an hour, twice a day. Live-In Care is for clients who need continuous care for varying lengths of time. A Care Worker will live with you in your own home or travel with you on holiday to provide care and support.
How much does it cost?
This will vary according to your requirements. Please contact our office on 0345 040 5818 and we will be pleased to give you an estimate over the telephone. For more information please visit our Funding Your Care page.
How thoroughly are Ideal Home Care Solutions Care Workers trained?
The care staff we supply to you will have had training that meets the standard required by the Health & Social Care Act (2008). The majority of our care staff will have qualifications that exceed these standards. We also supply the necessary updates and extra courses that equip our care workers to undertake the type of care required.
Where do we recruit from?
We endeavour to recruit our Care Workers from the UK. When we do recruit from abroad we ensure that potential staff have good English-speaking skills and a good knowledge of our culture.
We have no upper age limit though older care workers need to be fit enough to help frail and or disabled people with transfers. We have a limited number of Care Workers who are under 21 or over 65.
The experience and attitude of potential staff is more important to us than their age.
Are the Ideal Home Care Solutions Care Workers police-checked?
By law, all care workers in the UK must obtain a Criminal Records Bureau disclosure and Protection of Vulnerable Persons check before they are allowed to work unsupervised in this sector. All of our Care Workers will have had these comprehensive checks completed before being introduced to our clients.
What can the Ideal Home Care Solutions Care Workers do?
Our Care Workers are there to help you with your needs whatever they may be. You may like someone to live with you to keep you company and to do general housework. Others may need more advanced care such as help with bathing and getting dressed or even planning and preparing meals.
Following an initial assessment we endeavour to match a suitable Care Worker to you. He or she will then help with all your needs on an on-going basis.
What do I do if things do not work out as planned?
Our office is open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 17.30pm.
In addition, we have an on-call service outside of these hours, including weekends, for advice and additional assistance.
